Jim Dilamarter is the Director of Real Estate Operations at Arenda Capital and has been involved with various Arenda operations since 1969.
Since 1986, Mr. Dilamarter has provided property acquisition, land use services, building planning, design, construction and leasing consulting services for Arenda Capital, Inc. He has provided property management and administration for diversified commercial, residential, retail, and industrial properties. Management for all properties includes and has included traditional operational functions normally performed by a management administrators.
Prior to taking on the role of Director of Real Estate, Mr. Dilamarter was integrally involved in the operation and management of the very successful Vel’s Parnelli Jones Racing Team owned by Vel Miletich and Parnelli Jones. The team, which raced in five different racing disciplines simultaneously, was one of America’s first “super teams”, winning events and championships in every division. Beginning in 1969, Mr. Dilamarter held various roles including crew chief, chief mechanic, and he was the team manager during the team’s back to back Indianapolis 500 victories in 1970-71, three straight National Championships from 1970-72, and the Formula One success enjoyed in the late 1970’s. Management functions typically included decision making in regards to team policy, technical innovation, personnel, logistics, marketing and sponsor relations.
Mr. Dilamarter has directed the management of hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial, retail, and industrial property at locations throughout California, Arizona, Hawaii, Florida, Indiana, and internationally in the United Kingdom.
